Parent Teacher Association (PTA) – Sir Martin Frobisher Academy
Working Together as a School Community
At Sir Martin Frobisher Academy, we value strong partnerships between school and home. A Parent Teacher Association (PTA) can play an important role in bringing together parents, carers, and staff to support the school community and enhance pupils’ experiences.
What is a PTA?
A PTA is a group made up of parents, carers, and school staff who work together to:
- Organise events and activities for pupils and families
- Raise funds to support school resources and experiences
- Build a strong sense of community within the school
- Provide opportunities for parents to become more involved in school life
PTAs often organise events such as fairs, discos, raffles, and seasonal celebrations, helping to create memorable experiences for children while supporting the school.
Current Position
At present, Sir Martin Frobisher Academy does not have an active PTA.
We also currently do not have a parent forum in place.
Getting Involved
We would welcome interest from parents and carers who may wish to help establish a PTA in the future. A PTA can make a real difference to the school community and provide valuable opportunities for families to get involved.
If you are interested in supporting or helping to set up a PTA, please contact the school office for further information.
Our Commitment
We are always keen to strengthen relationships with our families and explore opportunities to work together. Your involvement and support are highly valued, and we look forward to developing ways to build our school community in the future.
