The School Day

The school day at Sir Martin Frobisher Academy is carefully structured to provide a balanced, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all pupils. Start of the Day

Pupils are welcomed onto the school site each morning where they are greeted by staff and encouraged to settle into a positive mindset for learning. The day begins with registration, where attendance is taken and important notices are shared.

Morning Lessons

The morning session is dedicated to core subjects, where pupils are most focused and ready to learn. Lessons are designed to be interactive and challenging, supporting progress across all abilities.

Break Time

A mid-morning break provides pupils with an opportunity to relax, socialise, and recharge. Healthy snacks are encouraged, and outdoor play is available wherever possible.

Midday and Lunch

Lunch is an important part of the day, giving pupils time to eat, unwind, and connect with friends. A variety of meal options are available, alongside spaces for both active play and quiet relaxation.

Afternoon Lessons

End of the Day

The school day concludes with a calm and organised dismissal. Staff ensure that pupils leave safely, either to parents/carers or approved arrangements.
